- Sunny day, so we hiked out the way we came in - trail in fantastic condition - lunch @ Mt. Somers Hut - total hike 4.5 hrs
- Drove into Christchurch
- Yummy lunch/dinner @ Sampan House
- Camped @ Addington Accomodation Park - friendly but dumpy
