- Hiked to Battle Hill summit - great views, nice trail
- Two ewes died - one had lambs, one was trying to lamb - ranger asked Dave to help load them onto disposal trailer - Dave's first time handling a sheep
- Stayed on @ campsite - nice fire after dinner
